A staple seen on protesters in the late 1960s and 70s, this style eventually made its way into the closes of university students across Britain. Nowadays it is a fashion statement of non-conformists, while be sensible enough to wear as a work or school shoe.

- Constructed to last with Dr. Martens signature Goodyear Welt. The upper and sole are sewn together with a trademark heat-sealed z-welt stitch
- Built on the forever comfortable and iconic AirWair sole - an air cushioned sole that is oil and fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance.
- Oil, petrol and alkaline resistant sole
- Trademark Dr. Martens yellow stitching.
Use Wonder Balsam to keep your 1461s clean and to protect the leather, keeping it soft and supple. Wonder Balsam also protects against water, liquid and salt marks.

We offer FREE SHIPPING on orders over $99, anywhere in Australia. If you qualify for free standard shipping, you can upgrade to EXPRESS SHIPPING for $15. If your order falls under $99, our standard shipping is a flat rate of $10, express shipping is a flat rate of $20.
Postage to New Zealand is a flat rate of AUD$40, and we do not post to any other countries.
Unless requested otherwise, your parcel with require a signature on delivery. We recommend using a work or home address, where someone is available to accept the goods. If no-one is available to sign for your delivery, a card will be left advising that your parcel can be collected from the nearest collection centre. If you wish to give 'authority to leave' instead of requiring a signature, please just let us know in your order comments (Note: Shays Shoes does not take responsibility for these items if they are misplaced at delivery).

We offer a collection service from our store, located in West End (Brisbane). Once your order has been received, we will notify that your item/s are ready for collection.
Pickup hours are: Monday - Wednesday: 10am - 5pm; Thursday and Friday: 10am - 5:30pm; Saturday 9am-3pm & Sunday 10am-2pm

Returns & Exchanges
xWe accept returns and exchanges, but please be mindful of the following store policies:
All items marked 'FINAL SALE' online at the time of purchases can be returned within 30 days from date of dispatch for an exchange or store credit only.
All other items can be returned within 30 days from date of dispatch for an exchange, store credit or refund.
With exception to faulty items or wrong items dispatched:
- Postage costs will be at your expense (including a $10 re-delivery fee for exchanging items)
- Returns and exchanges will not be accepted after the 30 day period.
